Circuit: Downtown West Palm Beach's On-Demand Electric Shuttle
Circuit is still operating as a DDA-supported downtown on-demand electric shuttle, daily 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. It is separate from West Palm Move, and it did not go away when RideWPB ended.
Article facts updated September 5, 2026

If you live or own in downtown West Palm Beach, Circuit remains one of the most useful perks of the address. Circuit is still operating as a DDA-supported downtown on-demand electric shuttle. It is separate from West Palm Move.
It is an app-based, shared electric shuttle for short trips in and around downtown West Palm Beach and Palm Beach — Clematis Street, CityPlace, the waterfront, dining, and entertainment — without parking, surge pricing, or a long wait.

How It Works
Request a ride in the Ride Circuit app and a shared electric vehicle comes to you. Service runs daily, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Fares are not a flat number: they can vary by zone and by party size. The app shows the price before you confirm, so check it there rather than assuming a set fare or a free ride.
The service is supported by the Downtown Development Authority. That is the key detail behind everything below — Circuit is a downtown-district service, not a City of West Palm Beach transit program.
Circuit Is Not RideWPB, and Not West Palm Move
These three names get mixed together constantly, so it is worth separating them.
- Circuit — DDA-supported, app-based shared electric shuttle. Running today, daily 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- RideWPB — the City's former mobility program, which had both on-demand service and a compact 15-stop downtown fixed-route circulator that ran as a one-directional loop. It ended May 31, 2026.
- West Palm Move — the City's new permanent replacement for RideWPB, combining an all-electric fixed route with app-based on-demand rides. The City currently lists it as Coming Soon.
Circuit was not replaced by West Palm Move and was not discontinued alongside RideWPB. It is a different service with a different sponsor, and it kept running straight through.

Why It Matters for Downtown Condo Residents
For residents in the downtown core — the Clematis Street corridor, CityPlace, the waterfront — the service most people actually use day to day is the one that is still there. Leave the car at home, take the shuttle to dinner on Clematis, walk back along the waterfront if the weather cooperates. That use case is unchanged.
For buyers comparing downtown WPB condos against suburban alternatives, Circuit is one of the quality-of-life details worth factoring in. Covering the downtown zone without a car on evenings and weekends is something most suburban addresses in Palm Beach County cannot offer. Download the Ride Circuit app before your first week — once you use it once, it becomes a reflex.
